It is the week - yes, Christmas week is here. Are you ready? I have been enjoying spending time with family. My son is here from Vermont and I love having my grand kids here for Christmas. Just being able to be together is the best gift ever.Food has been mostly prepared, presents have been wrapped and Christmas movies are on TV. How is your Christmas preparations going?

Happy Sunday. Christmas will be here in a few days. I have been having a wonderful time with my grand kids. We went shopping today, crazy right? Now I am not a shopper, but I gave them money for Christmas so they could buy some clothes or whatever else they wanted. I am tired, shopping is exhausting!! Do you like to shop?
I want to apologize for not returning your comments last Sunday. It was just so crazy and then it got away from me. I hope to be better this week.
Marilyn and I would like to let you know that we are taking off next week, December 29th for a much needed holiday break. We wish you all a Happy New Year and will return pn January 5th with another Over The Moon.

Thursday Favorite Things
Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Well, Christmas is coming whether we are ready or not. I hope you are, but don't panic, you still have a few more days. This is the time when I love to relax and enjoy how lovely the house looks. I finished baking today and my father-in-law stopped by and sampled some of the cookies. He loves his sweets. He says, "I never met a cookie I didn't like". At 90, he still gets around well and plays golf 2-3 times a week. He even beats my hubby when they play together. Not bad for 90. I hope I have that much energy when I am 90.
