This Week's Features

This DIY Halloween porch sign made by Niky over at The House on Silverado is so cute! It would be a welcoming sign to all the little trick or treaters who might be scared of other homes' spooky decorations. Don't you just love the addition of the polka dots?! It's such an easy way to up the adorability. Yeah, I said adorability :)!

Emily of Hunny I'm Home created these adorable Halloween jars for about $4, and she's sharing the free printable labels with you! These would be a cute, non-scary addition to an apothecary "station" in your home, like I made in my kitchen, for Halloween. I love how she made these fun, with cute fillers and colored water, but if you wanted, you could make them creepy by ageing apothecary jars and using different fillers.

These fun Halloween embroidered denim pockets, made by Claire of Pillar Box Blue, make the perfect little gift bags to fill with treats and give out to trick or treaters or for your child's classroom party! If you don't have a ton of time or denim, you can just make them for the special trick or treaters in your life, like grandkids, nieces, or nephews.

Ann over at Ann's Entitled Life shared a recipe for jack-o-lantern waffles that your children and grandchildren would love to have as a Halloween breakfast! Every year I go all out with a Halloween and Christmas family movie night with themed food, drinks, decorations, games, etc. Even my oldest still wants to come home for those nights, so trust me, you want to start fun traditions that your kids or grandkids will look forward to every year and that will bring them home for years to come! These waffles would be a great tradition to start this year!

This orange and black Halloween tablescape created by Beth of Whispers of the Heart would be a great place to serve your jack-o-lantern waffles or Halloween movie night or party dinner, wouldn't it?! It's great inspiration for those of us who don't want to create a scary, gory, or creepy tablescape, and I love every piece of it. The adorable dessert plates, napkin rings, place card holders- everything!
