Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday! Can you believe that it is September? We had some rain today, but not from Ida. Not even sure where it came from but it did cause temps to drop. Hubby was away for the day so I turned the air off and had the doors open. There was a nice breeze and it was so nice to not be closed up in the house. (Had to put air back on when hubby came home)
So for the first day of September, I was kind of thinking of fall. No where near fall temps but it got me in the mood. I hope all of you that are still dealing with Ida that you are safe and not getting too much rain. September is always the worst month for hurricanes and I hope it is not bad. Be safe and take care!

You are so welcome for the feature. I love seeing fall decor but when it is 92, it is hard to think of fall. Trying to do some fall stuff anyway. Love the rusty cans in your vignette.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend ahead.

Bev

Coming in from this rainy day to #15 & #28! Thank you for being here with a welcoming umbrella!
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteYou always share such lovely stories and tie in biblical verses to fit your own experiences. What a gift. I would have been quite nervous on those roads without guardrails myself.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev, thanks so much for featuring my wreath today! I was delighted how much my cousin liked it. She is back in Pittsburgh to head up, develop Duquesne’s new school of medicine. We are drying out today; got over 5 inches but no high winds. Today it’s beautiful out. Wishing you sunny days!
ReplyDeleteDebbee,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Your wreaths are always so beautiful. How nice to have your cousin back in town. That's so nice. We had some rain yesterday but not like what you were getting. It is sunny today but hot.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

Hi, Bev; I love your fall themed features! The weather is definitely changing in Southern Ontario. The fall is my favourite season, so I am looking forward to the final harvest in my garden, Thanksgiving, etc. Thank you for hosting another awesome party; I am sharing #101 Chamoy - Two Homemade Recipes. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteI wish I could say temps are dropping here, but not so. Still hot. I like fall too but it comes later here than up north. You always come up with such amazing recipes and the stories with them. Your Chamoy looks awesome. I think I would like it with apricots the best.
Hugs,
Bev
Cool here too! I had to put on a sweater for the first time in months. :) Today I'm sharing #130 and 131. Take care Bev! xx
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteSorry I am way behind in returning comments. I love all of your ideas for saving money on the upcoming holidays. They can always mean spending so much money. I try to make homemade items instead of buying. I don't even buy candy anymore since we never get any kids. I make cookies for the kids next door.
Hugs,
Bev
