Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Link
Happy Labor Day to all our US followers - we hope you have a relaxing weekend with your families and friends!
Now let me start with I NEVER decorate for fall before Labor Day - I like to hang on to summer as long as possible! But after that first weekend in September, the time has come to break out the pumpkins. I am always looking online for inspiration, and I think this great post on Neutral Fall Mantel Decor from The House on Silverado is a great resource!
Now that the whole bird gathering ban is over (did you hear about that?) I've been putting out bird food to attract all my little friends again. What a neat idea to create this Birdhouse Gourd Lantern to add a special touch to your outdoor space!
You know I love a festive wreath AND little red trucks. At an affordable price, follow this blog post to make your own DIY Dollar Tree Pumpkin Truck Fall Wreath from Deb's Buzz.
I am down with anything pumpkin flavored be it coffee, doughnuts, or ice cream! Try this recipe for Pumpkin Ice Cream from Cincy Shopper - the best part is you don't even need an ice cream maker for this recipe!
*BONUS FEATURE*
How nice to have these candles burning for fall. Check out this tutorial for Homemade Autumn Spice Soy Candle. I especially love that it is soy, which means it will burn very clean.
