Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop
Happy Tuesday! Did you enjoy your long weekend or did you have to work? I remember when I worked how nice it was to have along weekend. Now that I am retired, everyday is nice.
Hubby worked on our sprinkler system since we are going to be putting in a pool and had to reroute the sprinklers. Although I am so excited to have a pool, it is all of the dirt and construction. The dogs went out this morning and just looked at the dug up yard where he dug up the sprinklers. Can you imagine when they put in the pool? Creating the design took awhile and we picked out some of the materials, but we still have to pick out the pavers. The engineers are working on the design and then it goes for permitting. I will keep you posted.
Once you have your pool installed, you need to purchase a vacuum cleaner to keep it looking great. Check out this review of the 10 Best Suction Pool Cleaners In 2020 at https://www.globosurfer.com/ best-suction-pool-cleaners/. This review will make it easier for you to pick the right one for you.

ReplyDeleteChas,
DeleteThanks for stopping by and sharing at Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop. I love the cushions you made for your black bench. I have a bench like that that needs to be stripped. One of these days.
Hugs,
Bev
Thanks for hosting and thanks so much for featuring my St. Patrick's Day Candle Holder. I linked up at #15 & 16 this week. Having a pool put in is exciting!
ReplyDeleteBeverly,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Now that is a great way to update a pillow and no sewing. Easy to change out.
I hope you have a lovely upcoming weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
A pool! How nice! We have an above ground because our water table is so high. It's just the two of us and we enjoy a cool dip during the heat of the summer.
ReplyDeleteI am sharing #18 and #19 this week: Savory Meatball Soup with Kale and the weekly Happenings on the Homestead.

Melissa,
DeleteWE had an above ground pool in our previous home because of the water table but here we can have an in ground one. I am excited but sort of wish it was over already. Not looking forward to all of the construction especially with the dogs. I am sure we will love it when we are done. It gets quite hot here in the summer.
I am loving your Meatball Soup with Kale. I have been in the soup mode lately and I have lots of Swiss Chard that I can use even though I love Kale. Pinned.
Hugs,
Bev

Debbie,
DeleteThank you so much for always stopping by and sharing. I really appreciate it. Retirement is time to "contemplate". I too have traveled so much that we don't do as much now except we want to start using the motor home. We put our weekend trips on hold last year with the move so hopefully this year we will get to do some. I love Rachael Carson. I first read her book Silent Spring about 40 years ago. I still have a copy of that book.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for hosting! This week, I shared St. Patrick's Day printable decor, #26. I have pool envy lol!
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
DeleteI love your St. Patrick's Day sign. I am excited for the pool too. Now I am just waiting for it all to start and then be over. lol!
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your recipes and tips. I always brown my meat even if it says not to. There''s just something about plain old meat going into the crock pot that bothers me.
I hope you have a wonderful upcoming weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
