Today's project is a fun craft for anyone. I really enjoyed making these cupid's arrows using paper straws and pretty scrapbook paper, but kids at home or in a classroom may find this enjoyable too.
This Pasta e Fagioli soup is hearty, a bit spicy and packed with healthy beans and vegetables.. a perfect bowl of comfort food.
Truffles are the ultimate treat for a devoted fan of chocolate. Rich and silky, they melt like butter on the tongue. These soft truffles have a hint of cherry flavor and are enrobed in dark chocolate. Dust them with cocoa or decorate them with a royal icing rosebud for an elegant appearance.
Hi everyone! You may notice this Sprinkled with Love Donuts idea from last year. Really liked these little valentines but hated the way the photos came out. The photos just killed them. We were living in our rental and the lighting was horrible so the post did not come out as I envisioned.
My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is all the chocolate. It comes in all forms and it doesn’t even matter if I’m single or not. It simply makes everything wonderful. Combining chocolate with my other favorite vice–coffee–is just a set up for greatness. Chocolate dipped spoons are the ultimate way to stir your coffee into a heavenly concoction
Aren’t these strawberry banana cupcakes pretty? They would make a beautiful centerpiece at a Valentine’s Day party! When I’m asked to bring food to a school party or a friend’s get together, I tend to go with a dessert, and cupcakes are such an easy recipe! I don’t need to worry about spoons or forks, which makes things even easier. Though these cupcakes work for any party, I think they would be so cute surrounded by little conversation hearts, don’t you?
This post stems from something that has been weighing heavily on my mind lately. It’s been plaguing my thoughts for years but for some reason it has been hard for me to admit to myself. If you asked me years ago, I would have told you that I was a pretty good friend. I would lend a hand, an ear, support, love, whatever my friends might be needing. I try very hard to be friendly and kind to everyone I meet but I tend to keep my close friendships to a smaller number of people. I feel like I’m doing alright with my casual friendships but I know how much I am failing at those that really matter.
Could I (well could H...LOL) make a picture frame the size of each section of the backsplash and make something similar to this....only on a larger scale? Then just attach it to the existing back splash.....I'll run my idea past H and see if he thinks I'm crazy!
Winter is a wonderland. There's something wonderful in the air - the sound of scattering feet, the smell of baked goods, twinkling lights, a hunch of snow. I love it. I love the cold, contrasted by the warmth of fluffy blankets and socks, scarves and knit pullovers.
Your Official Guide to Green Beauty Brands You Can Trust
Storybook Apothecary
Green beauty has had such an amazing effect on my life. From the people I’ve been able to connect with to the wonderful products I’ve discovered and the incredible stories I’ve heard, it’s really been quite lovely. The downright astonishing level of brand integrity I’ve been met with from so many brands has been something that I never really believed existed until I started discovering more green brands and that’s not just in beauty. A whole new world (cue the music) opened up to me.
