I’m Susan, the writer and creative behind From the Bay to the Beach, where I share all things modern California coastal living — from décor and DIY to style and seasonal inspiration. I’m so excited to be hosting this month’s party and can’t wait to celebrate the cozy charm of November with all of you!

Each week here at Happiness is Homemade, we feature a roundup of favorite ideas and projects shared at the previous party — everything from delicious recipes to clever crafts and beautiful home décor. It’s always inspiring to see what everyone’s been creating!

Since the holidays are just around the corner, I’m featuring some sweet treats and clever crafts to help you celebrate the season. Grab a cup of cheer and let’s dive in!

Easy Christmas Tart Recipe

Ann’s Entitled Life shared this stunning Christmas tart. It’s almost too pretty to eat! I love the combination of pumpkin pie filling with the decorative crust. Yum!

Easy Fudge Recipe

Fudge is my favorite chocolate dessert, and Mommy Hates Cooking has a winner of a recipe. With just five ingredients, it’s an easy treat to whip up for a bake sale or any holiday gathering.

Upcycled Christmas Card Tree Ornaments

Petticoat Junktion shared their creative idea for upcycling old holiday cards into cute Christmas tree ornaments. These vintage-looking cuties are an easy way to add a homemade touch to your tree.

Folded Paper Christmas Tree Origami

These simple folded paper Christmas trees were shared by Press Print Party. They are the perfect easy and inexpensive decoration for your mantel or table. Step-by-step instructions (plus a video!) will have you making them in no time.

Upcycled Winter Theme Glass Jar

I love decor that you can leave up after the holidays are over. Steph Creates Things shared this simple craft using an upcycled jar and brown paper. You could display this with flowers, greenery, or even a small candle.
