Valentine's Day is Tomorrow on WWBH
Welcome to the party. Sorry I didn't post last week. I went up north to see my Mom and she passed away while I was there. She would have been 100 in 2 months. She had a wonderful life. It still was difficult. We finally came home on Friday night and of course I was sick. I guess to many people and too many hugs, but it was worth it.
Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow.
On to the party!

So sorry for your loss, but happy that you got to spend those last days with her and that she had such a long and fulfilling life. My mom would have been 100 last month, but I lost her way too long ago (1987), although I have my aunt (her sister) in a nursing home near us now and she's quite a "character"! (no walker, no cane, no wheelchair ~ she's just everywhere but in her room when I go over there!) ... Take a few minutes to slow down (maybe in a bubble bath) and just let go. The months are going by too quickly now! Take care and catch you next week.
ReplyDeleteBeverly, I'm so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. It's alway so hard, even when your mom has had a long good life. I'm glad you had lots of hugs while you were home but so sorry you got sick. I hope the next months are filled with lots of good memories on your mom inspite of your sadness. Thinking of you - Patty
ReplyDeleteBev, I'm so sorry. I know that losing your mom is difficult, but I'm glad you made it there. I hope your memories bring you comfort.
