Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade
How is your summer going so far? We had a great 4th of July with perfect sunny weather and lots of outdoor fun. Finally a few days later the rains came, which we surely needed, but I am so glad that it held off for the official holiday. Last week our Happiness is Homemade party guests came up with some very yummy recipes so three of our features this week are edible! I have to say that the cute teddy bear beach cookies are my favorite ... I can picture children having so much fun making their own cookie creation! Which feature do you like the best? Tell us in the comments.Happiness is Homemade Featured Posts of the Week
Do you ever just feel like sitting down and coloring something? I find it to be a relaxing quiet-time activity. This Hello Summer Printable coloring page is free from Creatively Beth so stop by and get a copy for yourself!
A Dedicated House shares with us the Top Trends in Architectural Woodworking in this really informative post. Aren't these entryways pretty? It is amazing how an arched doorway can make a hallway look so elegant. Here are the little "teddy bear on the beach" cookies I was telling you about. Aren't they adorable? They would be so perfect for a children's party or as a food craft in school! Hunny I'm Home DIY blog created them. Some delicious recipes are just so easy to make and this Frito Corn Chip Salad by Crystal & Company is one of them! This family favorite can be served as an appetizer or side dish.
This spiral apple bread is a real eye pleaser, don't you agree? It looks so delicious and really pretty, too!
