Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday friends. Well, it's May and beautiful weather is here. Our days are warm and cool evenings, although we have had a lot of wind.
The garden is doing good. We planted potatoes today. I have been planting some in shifts. I have some that are growing quite well and just planted some new ones. Hubby is picking lots of tomatoes. He eats them every day, which is fine by me since I hate tomatoes. Here we are having fresh produce and I know it has been cold and rainy up north. You will have some nice weather soon.
I picked some sweet and savory goodies, a paint tutorial and a home tour. I hope you enjoy them!
Many of my features come from your comments. Don't forget to leave our Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you might become one of my features for next week.

Debbie,
DeleteI have never liked tomatoes. My family used to go into the garden and eat them from the vine. Not me. There's something abut the texture. Sorry to hear about so much rain. At least your flowers love it. Hopefully, it clears up soon.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for hosting! I'm #101 this week. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
DeleteI did not see the coronation. I saw some of the pre events and then afterwards - late in the day.
I agree that princess Diana would have made a beautiful Queen but it was not meant to be. It's a shame that she died so young.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev
You hate tomatoes???!!!! I'm so sorry. That's a staple for our garden (and my kitchen - haha).

Angie,
DeleteNo, I just can't eat them. I do eat pasta sauce, but I don't like big pieces of tomatoes in it. I don't like ketchup either. lol!
Wow, you got lots of new strawberries. You are a great gardener.

Bev

Hi, Bev; it's great that you are already harvesting in your garden; here in Southern Ontario I am getting asparagus and chives so far, but the herbs look good, and the weather is finally warming up. Thank you for hosting another great party, and especially for featuring my Mexican Style Asparagus; This week I am bringing #169 Three Taco Suggestions for Cinco de Mayo. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I love your tacos. What a wonderful comment about your tacos. You are so authentic. You should be so proud.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev, I love your choice mix of features this week. And who doesn't love tomatoes??! That's like my little May Day (Mayday!) flower I'm talking about in my post this week (#179). While most people love it, I don't like it one little bit after battling it in my landscape.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. Enjoy those cool evenings while you can!
Rita,
DeleteI hate to say that I had lots of lily of the valley in PA. I can see why you hate it. You had lots of it that's for sure. I hope you get it the way you want it. Good luck with your garden.
Hugs,
Bev
