Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday. This month is flying by and Christmas will be here before we know it. I did my cards and mailed my packages yesterday. Then I wrapped my presents and put them under the tree.
I am so excited to be done. I am still deciding on whether or not to make cookies. I like to bake but I don't like all of those sweets being around. How to you feel about all of those desserts? Do you bake?
If you stopped by my DIY Sled Tray, you saw these decorated vintage blocks with trees. I created a post so you can make you own set. I hope you check it out.
Many of my features come from your comments. Don't forget to leave our Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you might become one of my features for next week.

I don't like to have all that baking around either, it calls my name from the freezer. lol I bake my family favorite recipes and give it away as gifts. Sharing two of those recipes this week at links 75 & 77. Happy Holidays!

I haven't made cookies yet either...which is probably a good thing because I'll eat them all. I just polished off a bowl of Hershey's kisses so I basically have no self control. Thanks for hosting and enjoy your weekend. I'm numbers 100 and 101 this week.

Love your sweet blocks with trees, Bev! Thanks for sharing our entry decor which really wasn’t reinventing the wheel - but the work of building and refinishing is another story! Glad you are crossing things off the list. Not too much baking happening here since I am fat restricted and husband is gfree but I will host Xmas Eve so there will be goodies for that. Peace you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words on my blocks. I think we are always reinventing the wheel, or at least I am. Enjoy your holidays.
DeleteHugs,
Bev
I totally agree with you about the sweets "hanging around". There are a couple recipes that I must make every year because they're literally a family heirloom, made by my ancestors for generations. I'll just have to deal with the temptation - haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting!
Angie
PS My linkups this week are: #221, #222 & #223
Angie,
DeleteI have to make certain ones too. but trying to resist. I love your pictures and ornaments. My son had that plane.
Have a blessed Christmas.

Bev
