Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been very busy painting. Not my house but my in-laws new home. We started painting last Saturday and are still at it. The living room, kitchen, spare bedroom and hallway are done. We still need a second coat on the master bedroom and then there are those accent walls in both bedrooms. Of course they are dark colors and I will start them today. I know they will take several coats. Then there will be both bathrooms. I am sick of painting!
They are coming to clean the carpets on Monday so I must be done by then. Wish me luck!

Hi, Bev; sounds like you have had a literal Labour Day weekend (and week) with all that painting! Labour Day weekend was a bittersweet time for me and my husband, since we were busy helping our younger daughter get settled for her last year at the U of Toronto; it seems like yesterday when we drove our older one there, as a first year student! Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing #40 and #41 with fun recipes to prepare fruit and vegetable snacks. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteYes, it was a true labor weekend and week. I will be glad when It is done. Hopefully tomorrow. I love your sugar baby watermelons. So cute and the fruit looks great in them.
I know it is hard when you have to send them off to college. I remember those days, even though they were a long time ago. It is not easy.
Hugs,
Bev

Look at you go - that is a lot of painting!! It will look so nice when it's done - it's amazing how much fresh paint can do for a house. Thank you so much for the feature! Today I'm sharing #111 and 112. And tomorrow is Miss O's first day of kindergarten - eek!

DeleteFall in all its glory. I usually look forward to it because it means cooler temps here in Florida. I know you will be enjoying that spaghetti sauce in the winter. Sitting here in the sunshine, enjoying the wonders of nature he has created.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Bev
