Welcome to Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop
However, she was not fine. she went for an xray on her hand and they sent her home and said they would call with the results. Who does that to a 96 year old person. Well, she has a fractured finger. They said she could see an orthopedic surgeon at the end of the month. Really??
Finally, my sister called my Mom's doctor backa nd she was able to get her an appointment on Wednesday. Now this has been since Sunday. Poor thing, having to deal with all of that. I feel bad for my sister, since she has to try and work and deal with doctors and appointments. It is so hard being so far away. I am just grateful that my sister is there to help.
I just can't believe that they sent her home with a fractured finger. Crazy.
I hope your week got off to a great start.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom and hope she heals quickly. I broke my arm once on a Saturday night. The small hospital I went to didn't have any orthopedic doctors on duty and I had to come back the next afternoon to have it set.
ReplyDeleteSandra,
DeleteWow, that does not sound good either. She is doing better. Even her face is not so black and blue.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev

Omigoodness Bev! They should not have sent her home!! How is your mom doing now and how are her spirits? xx
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteI know, can you believe they sent her home. Fortunately, on Wed. she saw the doctor and he put it in a splint on it. She goes back in 4 weeks. I am so glad they were able to get her in.
Have a great upcoming weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
