Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Party
Welcome to our party where bloggers come together to share their latest and their greatest posts with you. Every week you will discover a delightful assortment of creative ideas that you will love! At our party you will find the best recipes, crafts, do-it-yourself projects, home décor ideas, fashions and family fun right here.
First, before this party begins, let's start by looking at some special featured posts from last week's party.
Featured Posts Of The Week
Here is a recipe hack that I absolutely have to try. Cauliflower Mock Potato Salad from Tracey at The Kitchen Is My Playground. She has preserved all the great flavor of potato salad and cut out many carbs and calories by subbing in cauliflower, instead. Brilliant!
In all my years on this earth, I never thought I would meet a live chicken. Really! Our family had the regular pets. Dogs, cats, hamsters - even a lizard. Now my daughter, her daughter, my daughter-in-law and my niece are all "backyard chicken moms!" They each have several live chickens and a huge ongoing supply of freshly laid eggs.
With this opportunity to get acquainted with chickens, I have become fascinated with the beauty of these creatures. Their plumage is exquisite and they are smart birds, too. If you have any interest in starting a mini-farm in your backyard, you will enjoy this "how to" post from a blog called An Off Grid Life entitled "Backyard Chicken Supplies for Beginners."
Keto Pineapple Avocado Smoothie Recipe? This adventurous recipe comes to us from a blog called Keto Millennial. Though it does contain a "high carb" ingredient, pineapple, the net carbs per serving is only 5.5.
Take a look at this patriotic fireworks holder mason jar craft, a 4th of July Craft - Snap, Crackle, Pop! created by Must Have Mom. Don't you just love them?
Do you like farmhouse décor? I do, too. Soon as I saw this little project, by Kristi of French Creek Farmhouse, I knew I had to pick it as one of our features. If you want to make your own Farmhouse Fabric Star Garland, she has easy to follow instructions included in this post.
