Michele,
DeleteWhat a lovely post about being a mother-in-law. I have had to deal with some of those issues myself. Sometimes it was difficult at the beginning but now it has all worked itself out.
Hugs,
Bev
.
Glad to hear you had a nice visit with your Mom. Wow I'm early, linking up this week at 45 & 47. LOL Have a nice weekend, Bev!
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteI have one of those projects that has a bleed through. I put 3 coats of stain blocker on it after the first coat where it bleed through. Then someone said to put a coat of varnish on it. Did that and it still bled though. Another coat of varnish and one of stain blocker and still bled through. I might paint it black. lol!
Hugs,
Bev
Glad you got to spend time with you mum. Linking up with No. 60, A Yerushalmi Born in Beverly Hills.

So glad you were able to spend time with your mom even though the parting is such sweet sorrow. Thanks for hosting and featuring these tempting posts - I do love me some thyme and rosemary potatoes! I'm sharing at #66 today and hope it will bring peace and maybe a little inspo to boot. Peace to you this glorious Thursday - the sun is shining - we are safe - there is hope on the horizon. xox

ReplyDeleteJulie,

DeleteEnjoy your dog sitting. You are so ready for Memorial day. I love all of your plants. I did not get to see Lilacs while I was up north. They are one of my favorites.
Have a lovely weekend.

ReplyDeleteHi, Bev; it is sad when we visit our family and then have to leave, but then again, any time spent together is greatly appreciated, especially during the pandemic. Thank you so much for hosting another great TFT and especially for featuring my Cilantro and Asparagus Soup; this week I am sharing #132 Asian Heritage and an Asian-Inspired Spicy Sauce. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. Yes, having to leave loved ones and not knowing when you will see them again, is difficult. I know you must be enjoying having your daughter home after such a long time in Japan.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev! I have bookmarked that asparagus soup to try - looks so good! I thought about starting an asparagus patch in my garden b/c I love perennials but it seems like you need a decent amount of space and we don't! lol Today I'm sharing #167 and #168.
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteI pinned that soup too. I would like to have an asparagus patch but it does take too much room. My son had a big garden and had one. it did take a lot of space. I just have to buy it instead.
I am sort of organized. I always do #4 but trying to get hubby to get rid of paper, it's a chore. I call him the paper junky.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for featuring our Cutlers Peanut Butter Cookies and for hosting the party. I am so glad that you got to go and visit your mother. I can only imagine how hard it was to leave. Our link this week is: #218.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I love cobb salad. Not sure why I don't make it more often.
Have a nice weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
