Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things Party
Happy Thursday! Can you believe that two weeks from today is Christmas Eve Day. Yikes, why does it always seem to sneak up on me? I thought I was doing good, decorating done and the tree is almost finished. On to cookie making time - my favorite part.
I don't have many gifts to wrap since we don't buy much for each other - a couple of simple gifts. Do you buy for your hubby? How do your handle Christmas gifts? I am getting my gifts ready to send to mail. Should go out on Friday. At least that will be done.
I Hope you enjoy all of the inspiration you find at the party. We have the best bloggers and they are all so creative. Hope you like the features!

Debbie,
DeleteYour front would have looked lovely with the new snow but it still is beautiful. I would need a week at your house to check out everything. Miss Faye is adorable. What a cutie.
Stay healthy.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev, thanks so much for including my Grenadiers tablescape among your features! I've been doing a lot of online shopping and direct shipping, and discovering that gift wrap is unheard of. Ah well.....
ReplyDeleteSandra,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. You always have such lovely tablescapes. I know what you mean, I thought more places online would have gift wrapping. Crazy right?
Stay safe and healthy.
Hugs,
Bev
yummy and festive features my friend. xo
ReplyDeleteKatherine,
DeleteThanks for stopping by. We have such great bloggers that share amazing ideas.
Stay safe and healthy.

I'm exactly the same, Christmas is ages away and then suddenly Boom! It's 2 weeks! Every year! Thanks for hosting, I hope you have a super productive week so you are all Christmas ready by this time next week :-)
ReplyDeleteChristmas does like to sneak up on us. I finished my shopping and now to wrap and bake. I am so excited to be getting almost done. But are we really ever done?
DeleteI hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi I am #115. I shared a post about finding Simple Joyful things in all the craziness. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteGrantham Lynn,
DeleteHow sweet to watch your grandson play the guitar. Nothing like a sunny day to enjoy time outside and with loved ones. Creating great memories.
Hugs,
Bev
We are 95% finished our shopping and will be doing porch drop off deliveries this weekend (we are in lockdown again). Linking up this week a links 116 & 117. I hope your week has been a good one.
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteI finished my shopping today. Now to box up some of it to ship. Sorry you are in lock down again. That can't be easy. Love your Victorian village. Stay safe and healthy my friend.
Hugs,
Bev
I hope you're feeling much better today Bev! Thank you for the mug cake feature - I was so excited :) Today I shared #95 and 96. We cut down our tree last weekend. Instead of this lush, branchy tree we ended up with a Charlie Brown tree - I have no idea how we're going to fit all our decorations on but it'll be funny anyways. xx
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteI am feeling much better, thank you. You are so welcome for the feature. We always use to get one Charlie Brown tree each year. The kids put it in their room. It is hard to put lots of ornaments on it however. Great story, you made me laugh. I am sure it will be nice.
Hugs,
Bev
We are not exchanging gifts with family this year. I will be baking away and sharing with my family members. That'll be all.
ReplyDeleteMy two daughters live far away from us, so do the grandchildren, of course.
There will be no craziness for us, thank goodness.
Thank you for hosting sweet ladies.
Happy Christmas Season.
Fabby
Fabby,
Deleteit is a strange year for sure. Last year was so wonderful with everyone here but now this year, so quiet. At least we can look forward to next year. Keep up the baking, I am doing lots too.
Hugs,
Bev
Hey Beverly! Yes, Christmas seems to be fast approaching. We will be putting up the tree this weekend, I feel like we are behind. I am not putting up everything this year though.
ReplyDeleteI am #'s 154-156: Graham Cracker Cookies, Happenings on the Homestead #94, and A Gift For The Beginner.
Have a great week!
Melissa | Little Frugal Homestead
Melissa,
DeleteI finished the tree, and I am so glad it is done. How nice that you got to see your grand kids. How special. That's more important than putting up the tree. This weather is too cold for this time of year. Crazy weather. Stay warm.
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I am going tomorrow to get all of the supplies for the cake. Father-in-law will be happy. Love your recipes.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you so much for the feature, Bev! I finished my Christmas shopping in 15 mins online! Crazy! I've never done it that quick before! I do still need to buy for my boss and his wife (both good friends). But, I'm just about done! Going to CO for Christmas, so will have a couple things to wrap there! I'm at 167 this week! Have a great one!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteWow, I can't believe that you did your shopping so quickly. Good for you. I am finally done and started to wrap. Your tree is so beautiful. It makes your room so lovely. Have a great time in CO. That should be nice.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Bev. Hope this finds you well. Life has been hard so I have been away from the party for awhile. I'm back at #171 and while it's not as lighthearted as a recipe or DIY, it provides a snapshot of my heart. Peace to you. xox
ReplyDeleteMichelle,
DeleteYour posts are always filled with such love and insight. I love your posts since you always put your heart into it. This is the season of hope and I hope you continue to heal and be blessed.
I love Pentatonix too.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev; Both our daughters are abroad, so we got creative and we are all buying presents for ourselves, wrapping and labelling them as coming the others; we are opening them on a video conference for Xmas, so they will be a surprise for the givers, LOL! Thank you for hosting another great party, and especially for featuring my Russian Salad; this week I am sharing #84 Toledo Style Marzipan Shapes. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteYou are so welcome for he feature. What a cute idea for sharing and opening gifts. Sounds like fun. I know you will miss your girls.
Hugs,
Bev
