Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday everyone. Here we are at the first Over The Moon Party in December. I am a little behind in Christmas decorating. Trying to get it all done today but not sure if that will happen.
I thought I was doing well, but somehow I am still behind. It sneaks up on you and before you know it, there it is. All of the outside is done, just a little more in the house and the tree.
I didn't do as much this year as in the past. Are you doing the same or less or more? Some how I just wasn't in t he mood to go all out. Maybe because it will be a quiet Christmas. What are your thoughts?
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.
Have a post you want to give more reach to? Need some comments or shares? Want a post that's close to going viral to take off like a rocket? Now is the time to link it up!
We pin EVERY feature link and Most Clicked Link. So have a chance to be featured and leave a comment in our comment section. Debbie,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I always enjoy seeing your lovely home and taking tours. I hope you are staying healthy and safe.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Bev
I'm behind in Christmas decorating also (it's such a weird year - especially for us Michiganders living under our Governor's COVID tyranny).
ReplyDeleteThank you again for hosting this fun party!
Angie
PS My linkups this week are #67, #68 & #69
Angie,
DeleteI hope you get your decorating done. It does sneak up on you. I love your Advent series. I miss being at church. Just haven't want to take the risk.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Bev
I paired down our Christmas decor this year too. I went with less bling and more white lights and simple evergreens. The simplicity and sparkle of the lights helps pick up the spirits while under lockdown again. Thank you very much, Bev, for the scrap wood village feature! xo
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteWhite lights and garland is so lovely. Great choice. I especially love the cranberry garland. Great tutorial on making the garland.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Bev
Ooops forgot to mention linking up this week at 101 & 102. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the party. I keep thinking that I am going to do the same amount of decorating, but I am pretty slow in getting it done! Our links this week are: #152, #153, & #154. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteIt does take some doing to bring all the stuff down. I left lots of stuff up in the attic. Even some of the stuff I brought down, I am not putting up. I have to make some of those peanut butter balls. They make me so hungry.
Have an awesome week.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev! This will be the first Christmas that my husband and I will be apart from our two daughters, partly because of the pandemic, but also because they are both working abroad for a year (Japan and France); I am decorating just as usual because we are having frequent video calls, so we all decorated our places while chatting and having hot cocoa, and they wanted to see our house as festive as always. Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing #157 Vegan Mexican Style Stuffing and Gravy. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteIt must be hard with your girls so far way but a wonderful experience for them. How fun to decorate while on a video call. At least technology has been great. I am sending your vegan recipe to my sister-in-law. Thanks for the recipe.
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeletewow, I have never had a Cherpumple Cake before. You are right, what a sugar rush. My father-in-law would love it but I don't think I can make it for him. I just won't tell him.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Bev
