Welcome to Over The Moon Linky Party
Happy Sunday! Wel,l Halloween is almost here. I know this year will be very different than in the past. I remember when we were kids (now that was a long time ago) and we would get so much candy and it was so much fun. Even when my kids were little they would fill their pillow case and have to come home and dump them out and go again. I know this sounds corny, but it seemed so simple then.
Well, if you celebrate, I have picked some great Halloween ideas for you. Some of the goodies are so easy and you don't even have to bake them. These treats would sure to please.
My favorite part of these parties is reading your comments. I feel like I get to know you and that we are almost like "texting" back and forth. You share your stories with me and I share mine - just like friends. So keep them coming.

Thank you so much for featuring our Festive Halloween Candy Board. It was so much fun to make. Thank you too for hosting the party. I loved Halloween as a child and yes even when my children were young. You are right - life seemed so much simpler then. I look at my grandchildren and want them to enjoy the holiday, and sometimes it seems to me that they are just taking everything in stride. I had a little gathering with them on Friday night and we had Dinner-In-A-Pumpkin. I was thinking that they seemed to have the excitement of children and I thought - "they are dealing with this better than I am". I guess that it helps to be between the ages of 1 and 6! Our links this week are: #74, #75, & #76. Have an enjoyable Halloween.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteKids are so adaptable and that is a good thing. We can learn so much from them. You are so welcome for the feature. I still want to try dinner in a pumpkin one of these days.
Have a awesome weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

I couldn't agree more about Halloween being so much simpler (and safer) back in our childhood days. I feel sad for the kids this year. This week I'm linking up a Halloween idea and some Christmas ideas in links 95, 96, 97. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteMaybe all parents say it was better when we were young. I do feel sorry for the young ones this year. I love all of your projects. You are so creative.
Have a lovely weekend.

Hi, Bev; We will have a quiet Halloween, as well, also because all the neighbourhood kids are growing up. Thank you for hosting another great party, I am sharing # 160 Huevos motulenos, a traditional brunch from Southern Mexico. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteI know what you mean, we don't really have any small children on our street either. I don't even buy candy anymore. Thanks for stopping by Over The Moon Party and sharing.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Bev
