Fall Wreaths for the Front
I had lots of wreaths for my other front door, but when we moved, this house had two doors instead of just one, so that meant I could not use any of my other wreaths. So off to JoAnn fabrics I went for some fall inspiration. I have been trying to use what I have instead of buying, but I needed some wreath bases. They also had faux flowers on sale so I bought one set.
I kept these wreaths rather simple. I didn't even add ribbon. I can always add that later or as an update next year.
I purchased two straw wreaths at JoAnn Fabrics. They were on sale so that was good. Then I tore strips of fabric from a drop cloth to wrap around it.
I did buy this bouquet of fall daisies. I had some other items that I could add. I wanted them to be rather simple. I did use hot glue to adhere the items to the wreath. I also found a few small pumpkins in my stash.

Love that you used dropcloth on the wreath! I'm always looking for ways to switch up my wreaths. Saw your post on the Wonderful Wednesday link. -Marie This Dear Casa.
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteThanks for the sweet words about my wreath. I enjoy finding ways to use what I have and I usually have pieces of drop clothes around. They really made it nice. I will use that again.
Have a lovely upcoming week.
