Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday my dear friends. I hope your week has been great and you are all doing well and staying healthy. August is coming to a close and we have made it through another month (almost).
I love this time of year as I drool over all of the fall projects and decor. I am still having problems getting in the mood for fall with the weather being so hot. I get excited about it in the evening and then the next day it is so hot that I can't quite get in the mood. I guess I will just have to pretend it is cooler. Is any body else having this problem, or is it just me? I hope someone else is feeling like me. Oh please!

We are feeling the Fall temperatures over here already. Some evenings it's gone down to 48F. But I still can't bring myself to embrace Fall crafting until the calendar turns to September. Sharing this week at links 30, 31 & 34. Happy thursday!
ReplyDeleteMarie,
DeleteWow, that is chilly. it will be a very long time before we see temps like that here. Right now it would be nice. I won't even be able to get into fall on the first of Sept. still too hot. I love how you updated your knife block. It is amazing, what paint can do. it looks great.
Hugs,
Bev

DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. That is one beautiful table. I think the labors of love are the best pieces.
Hugs,
Bev
I'm with you, Bev. I don't feel like decorating for fall when summer will last at least another month. Ah well! I’ve linked at #32 this week.
ReplyDeleteSandra,
DeleteI agree with you, I might be ready by October. I love all of your flowers, your Irises are so beautiful. I really miss those down here. I don't have deer here, but remember up north and the deer eating all of my flowers. I do lots of pots too.
Hugs,
Bev

Kelly,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I wish I had hydrangeas to dry. I usually get some when I go to Vermont, but I didn't get to go this year so, I don't have any.
Thanks for all of the tips.
Hugs,
Bev

Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteI have been doing so good not eating too much, but tonight I was thinking of brownies and then I see your Rolo Brownies and wanted one so bad. I think I will have to make them tomorrow. I would make them tonight but I don't have any Rolos.
Hugs,
Bev
Hey Beverly,
ReplyDeleteI am struggling with fall as well with the heat and humidity here it just impossible to think about fall. But I think we are supposed to get a break in the heat come Labor Day - we shall see!
I am #150 and 151 this week with Basic White Sauce and a Casserole and this week's Happenings on the Homestead.
Stay cool!

Melissa,
DeleteI agree, fall seems very far away at this time. We had some cooler weather but it was because of rain so I couldn't be outside to enjoy it. I love to make a white sauce. I do it often and then throw stuff in. sometimes I don't even bake it, just put it in the pan with the sauce. it makes such great dishes.
Hugs,
Bev
Those are some lovely features, my friend. I almost missed the party as my daughter had complications from her wisdom teeth surgery and I had the kids that last two days! So glad I remembered to come by today. I'm at 194-196 this week! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIt's still warm here too (low 90's) but either tomorrow or Sunday it will cool down a little.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my Fun Friday post! I'm thrilled. I placed the featured button on my sidebar as well as at the bottom of the featured post.
