Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday! How are you my friends? I hope you are doing well as we near the middle of August. Temps in Florida are usually hot but in talking with family up north, the high temps are not welcome. What a hot summer the north has had this year. Even my son in Vermont is dealing with temps in the low 90s. That is very unusual for them. I guess the worst part has been the lack of rain. So what are your temps like? Do you like hot weather?
Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

I love your feature, Bev. Hope you're staying cool!
ReplyDeleteJust a heads up, your pin button at the top of your post is black and not working. I was able to pinned from your feature photo, though. The heat index here yesterday near about killed me working in the yard ~ I was completely drenched! Enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
DeleteNot sure why ti went black, but I see if you are right on it, it works. Need to fix that.
The heat makes it so hard to do any outside work. I can only work for a little while and then head indoors for a break.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

Bev, you are so sweet to feature my back to school memories tablescape --- thank you! It's been a long time since I had kids in school, and I so feel for parents and their children this fall. Can't be an easy decision for anyone.
ReplyDeleteDebbee,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature on TFT. I have not had kids in school for a long time either. I am glad I don't have to make all of those hard decisions.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev
It finally rained here! We so needed it. Everything was so dry and the roads even needed a wash - they were all dusty. I'm not a hot weather person but getting more used to it because I need to get out with my daughter even in the summer - haha, and not hide us inside in air conditioning. Today I'm sharing #87 and 88.
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteSo glad you got some rain. I know it has been very dry up north this summer and very hot temps. It is like living in Florida, lol!! At least if outside, and you get hot, you can go indoors where there is air. I love your single blueberry mug recipe.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev; the weather is still pretty hot in Southern Ontario, but it has been cooling down at night. Thank you for hosting another great party; I am sharing #171 Baja California Style Meatloaf. Have an awesome week!
ReplyDeleteOh, that chocolate zucchini cake made my stomach growl! Thanks for hosting! I'm at 183-185 this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Beverly for hosting. Sharing two posts this week #202 and #203, two of my most favorite things. What a fun party and wish you a beautiful weekend. Will pin this post!
ReplyDeleteNancy,
DeleteThe temps seem to be high in most places. I know the monsoons probably are needed to bring the rain for the plants and flowers, but you hate the damage it also brings. The weather has been strange this summer.
Thanks for sharing it at TFT.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for hosting the party. It has been so hot here in Utah, and so little rain or humidity. Our links this week are: #207, #208, & #209. Have a great week.
