Hey Bev,
ReplyDeleteI am #'s 27, 28 & 30: How to Prepare for Recession, Job Loss and Hard Times; Spring Homestead Giveaway (a little cheer during this otherwise gloomy time) and my weekly Happenings on the Homestead.
Thanks for hosting even in this difficult time, it's good to still "get together".
take care,

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting! This is a great distraction.
I really want that potato soup-
I'm sharing #37 this week.
I hope everyone at your house is dong well. Are your in-laws still with you?
My son stopped by with a "date night in a bag" for us. He didn't want us to miss one.
It's strange when you kids remind you that you're high risk because of our age!
Take care my friend!

Lisa,
DeleteThat was so sweet of your son. I have been listening to my kids talk about my high risk. it is driving me crazy. My in-laws are still here and hubby's daughter and husband left today. They kept going out and coming back and I had to disinfect all the time.
I worry about the in-laws and my Mom who is 95. I have COPD so it worries me some. Right now the pollen is so high that it is driving me crazy.
Be safe my friend.
Hugs,
Bev

Angie,
DeleteThanks for sharing at Over The Moon Linky Party. I loved your post on being positive. I have not heard Bing Crosby sing that song in a long time. I think when out=r faith is strong, we stay positive because we know he is in control.
Be safe my friend.
Hugs,
Bev

Amber,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature on Over The Moon Party. I love forsythia. We don't have it here in Florida. We also don't have bulbs that bloom. I miss those spring flowers. I hope you are well and safe.
Hugs,
Bev
These are truly strange and uncertain times, Bev; Canada is trying desperately to "flatten the curve" of new cases; these two weeks are critical for the country, so most people are trying to stay home, or keep their distance at stores. More basics are scarce now, and there is staff keeping a customer count at the entrance, so the number inside the stores stays below a certain limit at all times. Thank you for continuing hosting in spite of all the chaos; I am sharing # 147 Shrimp-less patties, and #148 Revoltijo, a mole stew with the patties and vegetables, traditional in Mexico during Lent. Take care, stay safe!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteYes, these are truly difficult times. We are heading into lockdown Thursday night. I think people and businesses are really trying to control the situation. let's hope that with all of the lockdowns, that this virus will come to an end soon.
Be safe and healthy.
Hugs,
Bev
Stay safe, Beverly!
