Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Have you began your countdown to Christmas yet? It is coming up so fast. I am finally done decorating, and I was hoping to start my cookie baking but that hasn't happened yet. I did finally get my list together and I am going tomorrow to buy my ingredients.
The problem is I keep seeing all of these great and yummy desserts being posted that I want to make and my list is growing. I have to cut back if I am ever going to get it done.
My neighbor is moving and wants to have a garage sale this weekend and I am not sure I can fit it in. One more thing to add to my growing list. How is your holiday plans coming?
Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

Thanks so much for featuring my post today, Bev. I hope you make progress with your holiday baking, and I agree that it can be overwhelming to decide and simplify! My favorite Christmas cookie is one I have been making for decades - a light buttery spritz type cookie iced with buttercream. I'm sharing holiday themed stories today at #65, #67, and #68 covering a pistachio cookie I developed that is a crinkle style and gluten free, decor inspiration from a farmhouse style shop, and smart dog gift ideas paired with darling quotes. Hope you enjoy and hope you stay gentle with yourself this week. Peace to you right where you are.
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I love looking at all of those things in the shop. So beautiful. Your cookies look so yummy. How can you go wrong with pistachio and chocolate chips. I hope the dog's tummy feels better. That is rough.
I love to rescue dogs. They are such a treasure.
Hugs,
Bev

No wreath party Beverly but I invite you to link up at my themed party (for Christmas trees and ornaments) and my unlimited monthly party :)
DeleteThank you for featuring me :) I wish the time would slow just a little, this is such a lovely time of the year but we are often so busy we don't get to enjoy all the great things!
ReplyDeleteI have more baking to do here as well. I was hoping to get some batches baked this weekend, but then there are other things everybody wanted to do and get done... Maybe I will get some cookies made before the household gets up and around.
I am at 32 and 34 this week - prime rib (our tradition for Christmas Day) and peppermint cookies. Hope you have a wonderful week and hope you get some of your baking done!

Always late to the party! So glad to join in anyway. Thank you to all of the hostess'.
ReplyDeleteDon;t worry about being late, I am usually late to other parties. How exciting that your daughter is performing in the Nutcracker. That is so special. it is so demanding. My daughter was a dancer when she was young so I know that routine. Hang in there and just be proud.
DeleteHugs,
Bev
Oh, see how late #188!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting! I've been so behind since Thanksgiving but at least I made it for this fun linky party.
