Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
I can't believe that Christmas will be here in only 20 days. For some reason it just doesn't seem possible. Are you feeling that way, or is it just me? Maybe because I have not finished decorating. I think this year it just might be slimmed down.
The weather has been very cool - almost winter like here in Florida. My goal is to get everything done by the weekend and then enjoy. Well, I do have to bake. I like to hand out cookies to friends and neighbors. Do you have any traditions that you do?
Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

Hi Bev! I think it doesn't seem possible because this year Thanksgiving fell so close to Christmas - we usually have more time! I like baking bread and cookies for neighbors and friends, but things are a little different since so many of us can't have or avoid gluten...and it's hard to bake deliciousness without that not-so-good-for-us white flour. :) I'm sharing holiday inspiration at #92, 94, and 95 and hope you discover some magic inside those ditties. Thanks so much for the opportunity to share and for taking the time to host TFT considering all there is to keep you busy during this season. I am doing my best to keep my calm and keep my eyes fixed on the reason for the season: that PRINCE who came to show us how to be a light. Wishing you joy on this Thursday. xox
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteI agree, Thanksgiving was so close to Christmas that I am still trying to decorate. I hope to be done by tomorrow. I love shops like that one. Those dogs are just too precious for words. We don't have any shops like that here, I wish.
I am also trying to remember the reason for the season and focus on that.
I hope this finds you well.
Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Bev
I really want to get a Christmas tree! We tried to get a tree last weekend but it didn't go well because little miss was running and slipped on some ice at the tree farm and scraped her face. She was fine but was done with that place so we got some hot chocolate and left. Today I'm sharing #86 and #87.
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteOh that had to be so sad for you. I hate when they fall, especially on their face. Poor little girl. Hopefully you can get your tree this weekend. I love the Amazon gift list. Those dinosaur tea strainers are so cute.
Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Bev

It is hard to believe how close Christmas is, this year flew by! I have all the decorations up that I think I am putting up this year. I would love to decorate the back yard more, but we have 2 dogs that are young yet - not sure my decorations would stand a chance haha!
ReplyDeleteOur biggest tradition is a Christmas Eve party at my Mom's and then we make prime rib on Christmas Day. Always a nice time to spend with family! I am at 107 and 108 this week, have a wonderful week!
Dawn,
DeleteI agree that this year has gone by so fast. I feel like we just had Christmas. I am lucky that the dogs don't bother any decorations. They have never been chewers. I am getting done with my decorating, I hope to finish tomorrow.
I have never heard of Squash Sweet Dumplings. I am going to look for them.
Have a lovely week.
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your amazing recipes. I love those Almond Balls. Adding them to my cookie list.
Have a wonderful week.
