Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Well, it is Thursday again and I hope that you are enjoying this October. We are over half way through this month and I wish it would just slow down a bit. I am finally ready for Halloween. All except for the candy. I still need to get that but the house is done.
Since we were not here last year, I am not sure how many kids we will get. I hate to buy too much candy because then I eat it. Do you get lots of kids for Halloween or do you do something else?
Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

Debbie,
DeleteThank you for always stopping by and sharing. Your witches brew and potion station is adorable.
Have a great weekend.

Good morning, Bev. We don't get too many trick or treaters, and Halloween is not my thing so I am typically not even home that night! Those praline brownies you featured are calling my name, and I'll have to see if they work using coconut oil. Thanks so much for hosting TFT today and offering a space to share with a wider audience. I'm contributing with #28, #29, and #32. Kind of a mix of fall, rustic luxe decor, and Christmas DIY. Hoping this week is kind to you and brings plenty of comfort and peace just when you need it. xox
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteYou are such a sweet lady and I am glad that you are feeling better and gained your weight back. That is awesome. I hope you continue to feel good. Enjoy the fall while it lasts.
Hugs,
Bev
Beverly, very sweet of you to feature my Eye of Newt tablescape and chandelier this week --- always appreciate the compliment! Still in a tablesetting mood, my latest table, Skeleton at the Feast #104 is my latest tablescape full of fun favor treats and a nostalgic feel. If you like the Wiccan Lace dishes you'll enjoy seeing them here too. 105 is a Jaw Dropping decorated chandelier that hangs over the feast. And, the Haunted Hallows table, graveyard and de orated chandy is a more spooky, adult dinner party scene.
ReplyDeleteDebbee,
DeleteOMG I don't have words for your table. It is spooktacular. Your chandelier is incredible. I want to be at your table. I am in awe. You are just amazing.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
I do not get a lot of kids, maybe 10 or so, and this year I will be away so I will just vicariously enjoy through other bloggers stories, like yours. Thank you for hosting another great TFT party, Bev! This week, I am sharing #99 Swiss chard in Green Sauce. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
DeleteI don't think Halloween is the same as it was when I was young or even my children. I do enjoy looking at all of the wonderful ideas from bloggers. That swiss chard green sauce looks so yummy. I pinned it and shared. That is on my radar.
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you so much for the feature, Bev! Hope you are having a blessed week! I'm at 122 this week!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I just love those grateful place cards. They are lovely. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
I usually buy too much Halloween candy too early and eat half of it before Halloween! We usually only get 20 kids but I buy a much bigger box. Lol
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteI use to do that sometimes I still do. At our other house, we got around 45 kids and near the end I would give double and triple just so I wouldn't have left overs. I am a candy person. Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi Beverly, thanks so much for sharing my post on Fall Door Baskets! yes, I have to pick Halloween Candy that I don't particularly like, then I'm not tempted to eat what's left! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. I love baskets on the door. I do the same, I pick things I don't like or make hubby take it to work. Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

Angie,
DeleteSo delighted to see your sun flowers. I just want to come over and spend time looking at your flowers. I have never seen anything so beautiful. What a spectacular view you must have looking out at all of those sun flowers. Your photos are also amazing. God is just smiling down on you for showcasing them.

Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteWe woke to a really cool morning 66. I was so excited, soup weather. I can't wait to make the creamy lobster bisque. Heading out to buy ingredients.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipes.
Have a great weekend.

Love the features :) Anything fall related is always good. I didn't get my candy yet either. I would have but well, I would probably be eating it and have to get more so I might as well wait until closer to time haha!
ReplyDeleteI am at 184 and 185 this week. Have a wonderful week!
Dawn,
DeleteI see so many great recipes using Instapot. I need to get one. I ended up buy veggie chip bags to give out. Since I have no idea how many kids will be here, I didn't want to have lots of candy left over because I would eat it.
Hope you are having a lovely week.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you Bev for the feature of my Praline Brownies. Im so sorry If I couldnt say a word or two at times. When I turned 50, suddenly my body is having a hard time adjusting to my usual routine..LOL. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteMareliz,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature. No worries, I hope you are feeling better.
I remember when I turned 50, everything started to go wrong with my body, then 60 came and it seemed to be better. Now after 70, I don't pay much attention to it. I just keep plugging away. lol!
Hugs,
Bev
