Welcome to Thursday Favorite Things!
Happy Thursday everyone! I hope your week has been great. We drove back home on Wednesday. Another long trip home. It wouldn't be so bad but some much construction made it less than desirable. We had a lovely time and I enjoyed the cooler weather.
I bought a few pumpkins and some Halloween decorations so I will be decorating for Halloween today. Although I am still tired from the trip, I can finish some tomorrow. Have you decorated for Halloween?
Many of my features come from you my commenters. Don't forget to leave your Linkup Number or Post Title so I can find you and you could become one of my featured commenters next week.

Morning, Bev! Oh the construction! It's especially annoying when you're on vacation and trying to relax and escape the daily stresses like that. Hope you fully recover and can shift into decorating mode! Thanks for sharing my cake today and for hosting TFT. I'm sharing glimpses of an inspiring midwest market at #25, great painting tips at #27, and spiritual thoughts about healing at #28. Hoping to get outside as the leaves let go of the trees since nature and God are showing off big time this week. Peace and love to you on this October day that will never come again. xox
ReplyDeleteMichele,
DeleteI am working on decorating. I will get there. You are welcome for the feature on Thursday Favorite Things. I hope that you are feeling better soon. You always have such a positive attitude. It is your strength and determination that will get you through this and with the grace of God.
Keeping you in my prayers.
Hugs,
Bev

Debbie,
DeleteThanks for stopping by and sharing at Thursday Favorite Things. I love how you decorate your tree for each holiday. It looks all dressed up for fall and Halloween.
Hope your weekend is going well.
Hugs,
Bev
Hi, Bev! So far I only have a small pumpkin, so not much Halloween decorating for me, yet.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting another great TFT; this week I am sharing # 41 Jalapeños en Escabeche (Escabeche Style Pickled Jalapeño Peppers). Have a wonderful week!
Irene,
DeleteGlad to know I am not the only one with a few Halloween decorations. I did put up a few today and will get some more tomorrow. My husband would love your pickled Jalapenos. Yummy!
Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Always love Lisa's posts! Thanks for hosting, Bev... I'm at 93 and 95 this week!
ReplyDeleteJulie, You're a sweetie!

Julie,
DeleteLisa is a very creative lady, I love here stuff too. I love homemade applesauce. You can control the sweetness and make it as chunky as you like. Great post.
Hope your weekend is going well.
Hugs,
Bev
Thank you for featuring me :) We seem to run into road work a lot here. We travel into PA a lot where it seems there is construction everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI decorated for Halloween on the 2nd - I promise I wasn't in a hurry haha. I love Halloween and everything about fall.
I am at 108 and 109 this week. Hope you have a wonderful week!
Dawn,
DeleteDo you live in PA? It seemed as though there was construction everywhere we went. I am so behind in decorating. I find that I think I have so much time to decorate and the next thing I know, it is upon me. Good for you that you decorated early. Maybe next year I will be early too.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
Hugs,
Bev
Your dogs must be happy to get to run around more again :) We currently have snow here - yup, snow! Two days ago I was in a summery dress. Gah! I'm sharing #118 today :)
ReplyDeleteSuchot,
DeleteOMG, snow. I heard that temps were dropping by 30 degrees in some places. That was a huge shock. I hope it warms up again soon. The dogs have been in heaven since we got back. The first day back they played out all day and that evening, they were wiped out. It was so funny.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing my shovel pumpkins!I don't do any Halloween Decorations-but I do my share of buying and then eating Halloween candy.
I'm sharing some rug pillows at #119 xo Lisa S
Lisa,
DeleteYou are so welcome for the feature on Thursday Favorite Things. I love those shovels. You never cease to amaze. Then you make some great pillows from rugs.
I can't keep up with you.
Have a lovely week.

I had fun creating this Halloween tablescape for Oct. 2019.

I'm glad that you had a nice trip & save journey home! I haven't decorated for Halloween - it's so strange because the leaves have not started changing (usually by now they are prime color but it's been so warm).
ReplyDeleteThanks again for hosting!
Angie
PS My linkups this week are #192 & #193
Angie,
DeleteThank you, we did have a nice trip and made it home safely. We didn't see a lot of color on the trees coming home, not like those in Vermont but a little. We are actually having leaves fall here in central Florida. Rather funny, really.
You have the most beautiful sunflowers. There was a place on Saturday where you could pick sun flowers but I got busy and didn't make it.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Bev
Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your awesome recipes. Your recipes always sound so amazing.
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
Hugs,
Bev
Bev, thank you so much for including my fall tablescape in your features! I've spent the last two weeks moving my daughter across the country. I knew I wouldn't have much time for blogging so I didn't even take my laptop with me. So this is a bit late, but thank you again!
