I know that with the new year, so many people make "New Year Resolutions". Do you make resolutions? I am not really one of those people. I am one of those that sets goals throughout the year and even each week. Some are small while others are large. The large ones I call my "major goals", because they are larger and take more time. For example, we want to put in a new walk way out back. Smaller goals would be cleaning out my closet although that could take some time as well.
If you know me, you know that I have a red barn and it is my workshop. I have had this goal to fix it a certain way for many years now. It started out as storage for all of the stuff I moved here from Pittsburgh. I cleaned it out mostly and have been able to work in there, but it is not organized the way I want it. I can't find things that I am looking for.
I also have stuff in the garage and I want all of it in one place. So over the holidays, I asked my husband if he could help me in the barn (a major goal). He said he would be at my "beck and call" for the entire weekend. Whoo hoo!!
So we started to move some things around and started painting the walls, at least the ones that I could reach. We had to move everything to one end of the barn to be able to work.
I will be sharing my changes in the barn in the coming weeks. This is my 2016 goal for this year and I am so excited. That's all for now. I will be sharing barn changes soon.
Have a wonderful New Year.
