I must admit that for the most part, I did not see much that I have not already seen at other flea markets. I did see more industrial pieces however. One guy had these silver desks that were from the 50's that were really cool. Another vendor made some industrial planters what were very nice and heavy.
There was some shabby chic furniture, but it was not done well. The finish and colors left a lot to be desired.
Something that I have not seen was lamps made from all sorts of bases. This vendor had some really cool ideas.
He used cameras, lunch boxes, coffee pot, and a gasoline can (at the bottom of the picture).
They also made these great benches using truck tail gates. There was also a coffee table made with a tailgate under glass (one in the front). It was hard to get pictures. So many people.
People seemed to be buying. Carts were filled with goodies. I was restricted to the size of my suitcase. I bought a couple of things that wouldn't fit but I will get them one day soon. Here are my goodies.
I bought this shelf. I think it is either brass of copper. The ends unscrew and it comes apart so it can go in my suitcase.
An old window which was very different. Not sure if it was off a cabinet or not. The two spindles were cut in half and notched into the front of the frame.
I love this crate, not sure what it is for. Someone thought eggs, but the holes seem too big to me. It is heavy. The sign says, Hidden Valley Ranch, CAL ...... c07
I found this French grain sack. I would have bought more, but he didn't have much left that I really liked. He had pillows that were already made from the sacks that were beautiful.
It is so beautiful and all hand stitched. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet. My daughter wants pillows - we will see. I wish I had taken more pictures, but I was too caught up in looking.
