While visiting my daughter in LA, we stopped by her school (she teaches 5th grade). I was checking out her classroom and noticed a spice rack. She had purchased it at a garage sale, but her house had a built in spice rack. What to do with it?
She decided to use it for school supplies for the kids. She could put things like push pins, brads, paper clips, dice, etc., in the jars. The best part is that you can see what it in each one.
She hasn't filled all the spice jars yet, but said it is working out great.
This would also make a great addition to a craft room. Think of all the goodies you could put in those jars. So if you have some old spice jars, think of a new way to use them, maybe in your craft room.
