We are finally at the end of October and that means Halloween. I love to decorate for Halloween but this year I just couldn't and it makes me sad. I will have to wait for next year, but I enjoyed seeing all of the Halloween goodies and decorations you shared.

Welcome to the party. We are having glorious fall weather here in central Florida. It is in the low eighties, which is fall to us. My son had snow in Vermont yesterday - yikes, that's winter. I guess with October almost over, the weather is cooking down. Hope you are having some wonderful fall like weather this week.

Happy Monday! It's hard to believe that only last weekend, we were without power and trying to clean up after Milton. This weekend was so beautiful. What a difference the week made.
I finally felt good enough to clean the lanai. so much dust blew on everything. It was nice to get it all clean again. Of course, that wore me out, but it was done.

Happy Thursday dear friends. Thanks for all of the prayers and concerns about Milton. We have been through many hurricanes, but Milton was bad. I hope to never go through that again. Fortunately, we didn't have any damage, just so much debris from the trees and one large down tree.
We lost power on Wednesday evening and got it back on Sunday around 3. We have a generator hooked into our house, so all was good, although we were getting concerned about not being able to get gasoline. We made it. We were so blessed.

Welcome to the party. Well, we made it through Milton. What a storm. we had no damage except for all of the tree debris. It took 4 days to clean up. We didn't get power until late Sunday afternoon. We have a generator so we managed.
We were blessed, it could have been so much worse.
Happy Monday! Well, our power finally came back on late Sunday afternoon after going off late Wednesday night. Milton hit hard Wednesday night. I have never been so scared. The sounds were unbelievable. We were so blessed that there was no damage to our house just tons of debris. A large tree came down into our back yard from the open lot behind us.
I wasn't much help but our neighbors and family came to help rack and pick up all of the debris.

Welcome to the party and the first of October. Can you believe it? Time is flying by. It great to see all of the fall posts and even Halloween. I got a few things down and hope to get some more today. Slowly but surely I am getting there.
